PARIS, 06-May-2016 — /EuropaWire/ — Saint-Gobain has acquired Buitex, a company specializing in the manufacture of wood fiber insulation products for French and continental European markets under the brand Isonat®, which has become the company’s new name.
This acquisition will allow Saint-Gobain to expand its range of multi-material insulation solutions while enabling ISONAT to benefit from industrial, R&D and commercial synergies with the Group.
This acquisition is consistent with the Group’s strategy of developing on fast-growing niche markets with innovative habitat solutions.
