(PRESS RELEASE) COURBEVOIE, 2-Dec-2024 — /EuropaWire/ — Saint-Gobain has successfully completed the sale of its subsidiary PAM Building to Aldebaran, a French institutional investment fund, with Bpifrance (the French Public Investment Bank) taking a minority stake. The transaction was finalized on November 29, 2024. PAM Building specializes in manufacturing sanitary and rainwater drainage solutions for buildings and operates production facilities in Bayard, France, and Telford, United Kingdom. The company employs 400 staff members and achieved revenues of approximately €110 million in 2023.
This strategic divestment aligns with Saint-Gobain’s broader efforts to refine its business portfolio under the “Grow & Impact” plan, emphasizing sustainable growth and operational focus. The decision represents a key step in the group’s ongoing commitment to optimizing its operations and delivering enhanced value across its markets.
