RTL Group’s Divimove aims at the DACH market with the acquisition of German based influencer network

(PRESS RELEASE) BERLIN/COLOGNE, 24-Jan-2020 — /EuropaWire/ — The largest online video firm in Europe and subsidiary of RTL Group, Divimove GmbH is acquiring Tube One Networks, specialized in social media and influencer marketing. The Cologne-based German agency boasts some 300 million YouTube video views collectively generated by its 250 artists. Post acquisition, Tube One Networks’ employees will be joining Divimove and as a result the total headcount of the acquirer will grow to 240 people. The combined company plans to grow further as there is a number of job openings currently available. The deal has already secured antitrust approval from the bodies in Germany and Austria.

Divimove is working on establishing an integrated European network of digital studios and talent across multiple countries and platforms and the current acquisition is part of this strategy.

Post the acquisition, Mark Lucht will continue to lead Tube One Networks while Denis Müller, co-founder of Tube One Networks, will also remain on board. Mark will be reporting directly to Tobias Schiwek.
