Rostelecom OJSC announces that it has changed its legal form to public joint stock company PJSC

MOSCOW, 29-6-2015 — /EuropaWire/ — Rostelecom OJSC (MOEX: RTKM, RTKMP; OTCQX: ROSYY), Russia’s national telecommunications operator, notifies that it has changed its legal form to a public joint stock company (PJSC).

On June 24, 2015, an entry was made to the Uniform State Register of Legal Entities for the official registration of changes to Rostelecom’s legal incorporation documents, namely the registration of the new Company Charter and name.

The new full name of the Company is Public Joint Stock Company of Long-distance and International Telecommunications “Rostelecom”, with the abbreviated name being PJSC Rostelecom.

The decision to approve the new edition of the Company Charter, which includes the Company’s new name, was made at the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (“AGM”), which was held on June 15, 2015.

Federal Law No. 99-FZ came into force on September 1, 2014, which introduced amendments to the Civil Code of the Russian Federation, including changes to the forms of legal entities.
