Redes Energéticas Nacionais (REN) website awarded Silver Trophy in the best website category at the Best in Biz Awards 2013

31-7-2013 — /EuropaWire/ — REN was awarded the Silver Trophy in the best website of the year category at the Best in Biz Awards 2013.

The Best in Biz Awards are one of the most prestigious awards for organisations, and the only one in which the panel of judges is exclusively made up of members of the media (ABC, Bloomberg, Forbes, ETV, RTE, among others) or from the industry.

More than 150 public and private companies from over 25 countries were analysed this year by a panel of 43 judges from the most prestigious information, business, finance and technology publications and the media, from 18 countries covering all the continents. The Best in Biz Awards are honours conferred on the best companies, teams, executives and products, awarded in three separate programs: North America, EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) and International.

This is the second award won by REN in the best corporate website category. Last May, the Company received the Bronze Prize at the XV Festival of the Clube de Criativos de Portugal – CCP [Creative Club of Portugal]. More than 150 other initiatives won awards in the competition’s eight categories, out of a total of 634 entries.
