Raiffeisen Zentralbank, Raiffeisen Bank International and subsidiaries consolidate their communication activities in newly built division Group Communications

Vienna, Austria, 20-11-2013 — /EuropaWire/ — Raiffeisen Zentralbank (RZB), Raiffeisen Bank International AG (RBI) and the subsidiaries (Verbundunternehmen) bundle their internal and external communication activities in the newly built division Group Communications. The division will be established within the board responsibility of RBI-CEO Karl Sevelda. Ingrid Krenn-Ditz will head the division as of January 2014. She will also service the communication activities of RZB-CEO Walter Rothensteiner.

Next year our subsidiaries Raiffeisen Bausparkasse, Raiffeisen Leasing, Raiffeisen Capital Management und Valida Vorsorge Management will be integrated”, said RZB-CEO Walter Rothensteiner. „With Ingrid Krenn-Ditz we put a recognized communications expert in charge of this challenging task. The academic interpreter for English and Spanish has been heading the Public Relations Department of Raiffeisen Bank International AG (RBI) since November 2011.

She started her career in the communication field as the Spokeswoman and Head of Office for the Austrian Minister of Economic Affairs. In 1996 she took over the PR Department of the Austrian National Tourist Office. After several years in communications consulting (Senior Advisor) the Styrian born Krenn-Ditz joined the Austrian Chamber of Commerce in 2002 as Head of the Marketing Department. In this role she was in charge of internal and external communications as well as sponsoring activities.

From 2009 until February 2011 she worked as Head of Public Affairs at Erste Group Bank AG and was mainly in charge for lobbying and the positioning of the bank on the European level.

Krenn-Ditz, who was born and raised in Judenburg, Styria, is 48 years old and married.
