PNE Group Strengthens French Wind Portfolio With Oinville-Saint-Liphard Tender Success

PNE Group Strengthens French Wind Portfolio With Oinville-Saint-Liphard Tender Success

(IN BRIEF) PNE Group has won a tender in France for its Oinville-Saint-Liphard wind farm, a 22 MW project in the Centre-Val de Loire region. The project will consist of four wind turbines and was selected in a highly competitive tender round under France’s PPE2 programme. PNE France was one of eleven successful developers, with the Oinville-Saint-Liphard project among 39 awarded projects representing a combined 808 MW of capacity. The tender attracted 144 bids totalling 2.38 GW, highlighting strong market competition. The award follows PNE France’s previous success with the Chéry and Romescamps projects in the July 2025 tender. The French government relaunched tenders in April 2026 after publishing the PPE3 multiannual energy plan, and Oinville-Saint-Liphard received approval in May, enabling its submission in the tender.

(PRESS RELEASE) CUXHAVEN, 13-Jul-2026 — /EuropaWire/ — PNE Group has been successful in the latest French wind power tender, securing an award for its Oinville-Saint-Liphard wind farm project.

PNE France was one of eleven winning developers in a highly competitive tender round. The Oinville-Saint-Liphard project was selected among 39 awarded projects, which together represent a total capacity of 808 MW.

The eleventh tender under France’s PPE2 programme attracted 144 bids with a combined capacity of 2.38 GW, underlining the strong level of competition in the market.

The Oinville-Saint-Liphard wind farm will be located in the Centre-Val de Loire region and will consist of four wind turbines with a total capacity of 22 MW.

Roland Stanze, Chief Operating Officer of PNE AG, said the result demonstrates the strength of the company’s French team and reinforces the importance of France as one of PNE Group’s core markets.

“We are very pleased that we were able to prevail in a highly competitive tender,” said Stanze. “This once again demonstrates the excellent work being done by our French team on the ground.”

He added that the tender success follows shortly after the sale of the Romescamps wind farm, giving PNE another positive development in France within a short period.

The award comes after a pause of almost one year following the July 2025 tender, in which PNE France successfully secured the Chéry and Romescamps projects.

The French government relaunched tenders in early April 2026, shortly after publishing the multiannual energy plan PPE3. The timing aligned with the Oinville-Saint-Liphard project, which received approval in May and was therefore ready for submission in the latest tender round.

PNE said the approval for the project was granted in only 15 months, supporting its ability to move forward quickly in one of its most important renewable energy markets.

The successful tender result further supports PNE Group’s strategy in France and strengthens its position in the country’s wind energy sector.
