(PRESS RELEASE) LONDON, 5-Sep-2024— /EuropaWire/ — Logicor, a prominent player in the logistics real estate sector, has celebrated a significant milestone with the inaugural tenant of its latest development in Příšovice. The Czech beer giant, Plzeňský Prazdroj, has secured a substantial 7,500 square meters at the new facility to serve as its regional distribution center.

Plzeňský Prazdroj, renowned as the largest beer producer in the Czech Republic, will utilize the site to streamline its distribution across northern and eastern Bohemia. This strategically positioned facility, located near the D10 motorway, offers vital connectivity to major cities such as Prague, Mlada Boleslav, and Liberec, as well as international borders with Poland and Germany. The site’s integration with the Czech rail network further enhances its logistical advantages.

The development, completed in June 2024, spans over 21,000 square meters and is divided into two buildings. The facility boasts modern amenities, including 470 square meters of office space, and adheres to high standards of quality, safety, and sustainability. Both buildings aim for a BREEAM Very Good rating and feature sustainable design elements such as an underground rainwater retention system, electric vehicle charging stations, and roofs prepared for photovoltaic panels. One of the buildings is specifically optimized for cross-docking operations.

The site’s previous use as a precast concrete production facility necessitated extensive renovation. The completed development reflects Logicor’s commitment to meeting tenant needs through custom design and efficient construction practices. This includes specialized features like multiple entrance gates, distinct warehouse sections, and facilities for tapping technology, tailored to Plzeňský Prazdroj’s operational requirements.

Alžběta Pastrnková, Asset Manager at Logicor Czech Republic, highlighted the successful collaboration with Plzeňský Prazdroj, noting the achievement of high safety and sustainability standards within the development schedule. She remarked, “Logicor Park Příšovice exemplifies our dedication to delivering high-quality, strategically located logistics properties that support our clients’ growth and operational needs.”

In addition to the Příšovice development, Logicor is expanding its portfolio with a new project in Průmyslová Street, Prague, aimed at addressing last-mile logistics demands within the city center.

With over 115,000 square meters of logistics space under management in the Czech Republic, Logicor continues to strengthen its footprint in key markets, addressing the increasing demand for well-situated, sustainable logistics facilities.
