Athens, Greece, 1-11-2013 — /EuropaWire/ — Over the weekend of October 26 and 27, 2013, Piraeus Bank successfully completed the project of integrating the former Bank of Cyprus branch network systems into the united Group’s IT environment.

As of Tuesday 29 October, all the customers of the former Bank of Cyprus and Piraeus Bank networks will be using the same IT system and following the same procedures via the integrated network of 860 branches, 2,200 ΑΤΜs and 385 Easypay machines.

Hereafter, all customers will be using the integrated e-banking platform of winbank, as well as the other e-banking channels of Piraeus Bank, for their online transactions.

The integration of the former Bank of Cyprus branch network systems is the third step –following the IT systems’ integration of the former ATEbank and Hellenic Bank – in the process of integrating the IT systems of the banks recently acquired by Piraeus Bank. The next step will be integrating the systems of the former CPB bank network.
