Outokumpu Completes Share Repurchases, Holding Over 28 Million Treasury Shares

(IN BRIEF) On January 15, 2024, Outokumpu announced the completion of its share repurchase program, where it repurchased its own shares across different trading venues. The total cost of these repurchases amounted to EUR 453,926.84. This program was initiated in November 2023, with a maximum of 11 million shares and an authorization of up to EUR 50 million approved by the Board of Directors. The program is scheduled to conclude by March 21, 2024, and after these transactions, Outokumpu now holds a total of 28,058,540 treasury shares. Outokumpu announced a share buyback program of a maximum of 11 million shares on November 29, 2023. The Board of Directors approved a share buyback program of up to EUR 50 million under the authorization of the Annual General Meeting. The program will end no later than on March 21, 2024.

After the disclosed transactions, Outokumpu holds 28,058,540 treasury shares.
