OTE TV adds over 40 award-winning productions and popular films of independent cinema to its TV channels through deal with StraDa Films

13-8-2013 — /EuropaWire/ — More than 40 award-winning productions and popular films of independent cinema from around the world are added to the program of OTE TV cinema channels, OTE Cinema 1HD and OTE Cinema 2, through the new collaboration of OTE TV with the Greek independent production and distribution company StraDa Films.

OTE TV has secured for its subscribers great films from StraDa Films that will be coming soon to Greek movie theaters, such as the  “Blue is the Warmest Colour”, which won the “Palme d’Or” at this year’s Cannes Film Festival with the Greek origin actress Adele Exarchopoulos, the French comedy “Les Gamins”, the comedy drama “Thanks for Sharing” starring Mark Ruffalo, Gwyneth Paltrow and Tim Robbins and “In Another Country” with Isabelle Huppert, which brought the curtains down on this year’s film festival in Thessaloniki. The films will have their TV premiere on OTE Cinema channels.

It also offers a rich selection of independent films, such as the Oscar-winning Best Foreign Language Film “A Separation”, the Oscar-nominated “No” with Gael Garcia Bernal and “Monsieur Lazhar”, the French blockbuster “Mon pire cauchemar” and François Ozon’s “Potiche”, the thrilling “Teddy Bear” which won the audience award at this year’s Athens film festival, as well as the Oscar-winning “Mar adentro” with Javier Bardem.
