ORLEN Expands Shareholder Loyalty Programme With Direct Online Registration as More Than 37,000 Retail Investors Participate

(IN BRIEF) ORLEN has expanded access to its ORLEN in Your Portfolio shareholder loyalty programme by introducing direct online registration for investors holding at least 50 ORLEN shares, regardless of which brokerage firm manages their account. More than 37,000 retail investors already participate in the programme, while ORLEN’s overall retail shareholder base exceeds 170,000 investors, representing approximately 5% of the company’s share capital and holdings worth close to PLN 9 billion. The programme, launched in 2018 as Poland’s first shareholder loyalty scheme, offers fuel and retail discounts alongside investment education benefits such as e-books, training and workshops. ORLEN said programme participants achieved an average 123% total return in 2025, including an approximately 104% increase in share price, a dividend contribution of around 13% of initial investment value and programme benefits worth approximately 6%. The company also paid a record PLN 8 per share dividend for 2025, amounting to PLN 9.3 billion in total, while the simplified registration process is intended to strengthen shareholder engagement and broaden access to the programme.

(PRESS RELEASE) PŁOCK, 8-Sep-2026 — /EuropaWire/ — ORLEN has simplified access to its ORLEN in Your Portfolio shareholder loyalty programme, allowing eligible investors to register directly through the programme website regardless of which brokerage firm holds their account.

The change significantly broadens access to the scheme, which already has more than 37,000 participating retail investors. Until now, shareholders could enrol only through one of six cooperating brokerage firms, limiting availability to roughly half of ORLEN’s retail shareholder base.

Investors holding at least 50 ORLEN shares can now register independently using the online form, while registration through participating brokerage firms will continue to be available.

Direct registration opens programme to wider shareholder base

ORLEN has more than 170,000 retail shareholders, who together own approximately 5% of the company’s share capital.

Those holdings are currently worth close to PLN 9 billion.

By introducing direct online registration, ORLEN aims to make the programme accessible to a much larger proportion of its individual investor base and strengthen engagement with shareholders.

Jakub Frejlich, Head of the ORLEN Investor Relations Office, said the company wants more investors to benefit from the programme and described the simplified registration process as another step in strengthening shareholder relations and improving the attractiveness of ORLEN shares as an investment.

Record dividend adds to shareholder returns

ORLEN said it paid a record dividend for the 2025 financial year of PLN 8 per share, representing a total distribution of PLN 9.3 billion.

Frejlich said shareholders can participate in the company’s performance and growth while also accessing additional benefits through ORLEN in Your Portfolio.

The programme is designed to complement financial returns with practical discounts and educational opportunities for investors.

Programme participants recorded average 123% total return in 2025

According to ORLEN, the average total return on its shares for a programme participant reached 123% in 2025.

That return reflected three principal components.

The company said the share price increased by approximately 104%, while the dividend represented around 13% of the initial investment value.

Benefits available through ORLEN in Your Portfolio contributed a further approximately 6%.

ORLEN presents the programme as a way of adding further value to long-term retail share ownership beyond share-price performance and dividend distributions alone.

Shareholder loyalty programme has operated since 2018

Launched in 2018, ORLEN in Your Portfolio was the first shareholder loyalty programme in Poland.

It is built around two main components: benefits available specifically to shareholders and educational resources that are open to a broader audience.

The initiative is intended to strengthen relations between ORLEN and its individual investors while promoting wider understanding of investing and capital markets.

Fuel and retail discounts available to participating shareholders

Programme members can access discounts across the ORLEN service station network.

Benefits include a discount of PLN 0.10 per litre on EFECTA fuels and LPG, while VERVA fuels receive a PLN 0.15 per litre discount.

Participants are also entitled to 10% off non-fuel products available at ORLEN service stations.

These benefits form the loyalty component of the scheme and are intended to provide shareholders with additional everyday value from their investment relationship with the company.

Educational benefits support retail investor engagement

ORLEN in Your Portfolio also includes educational benefits associated with investment-focused events and initiatives.

Participants can gain access to resources such as e-books, training courses and workshops, including some materials and events that would otherwise require payment.

The educational component is intended to support financial knowledge and investor engagement while strengthening the company’s direct relationship with retail shareholders.

ORLEN aims to deepen shareholder relations

By removing the requirement to enrol exclusively through participating brokerage firms, ORLEN is broadening the programme’s potential reach across its more than 170,000 retail shareholders.

The company said the streamlined registration process supports its wider effort to strengthen investor relations and make participation more convenient.

Registration through the programme website is now available to shareholders holding at least 50 ORLEN shares, while the existing brokerage-based registration channel remains in place.
