(PRESS RELEASE) PARIS, 3-Oct-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — Meridiam has announced the closing of its fourth-generation North America infrastructure fund, MINA IV, which successfully raised over $1.8 billion in commitments. The total surpassed both its initial $1.7 billion fundraising target and the results of its predecessor, MINA III, reflecting broad investor confidence in Meridiam’s long-term vision and proven ability to deliver resilient performance in today’s complex market environment.

This close coincides with Meridiam’s 20th anniversary, a significant milestone for the firm since its founding in 2005. Over two decades, the company has built a global reputation as a pioneer of sustainable and future-ready infrastructure, with a strategy centered on long-term partnerships and measurable community impact.

MINA IV will continue this trajectory by investing in infrastructure projects across essential areas such as renewable energy, sustainable mobility, and critical public services. The fund’s structure emphasizes contracted assets that ensure both stability and long-term value creation. One of its focus areas, US express lanes, has already seen Meridiam establish a leading role. The firm recently closed the $11 billion SR400 Express Lanes P3 Project, one of the largest initiatives of its kind in the United States, further strengthening its reputation in this segment.

Thierry Déau, founder and CEO of Meridiam, described the fundraising outcome as a strong validation of the firm’s approach. “The confidence shown by our investors is a recognition of our consistent ability to deliver results through diversified and resilient portfolios,” Déau noted. “As we celebrate 20 years of building transformative infrastructure, MINA IV provides us with the momentum to accelerate innovation and deliver lasting benefits to communities across North America.”
