(IN BRIEF) MAHLE GmbH has undergone a rotation of its 20-member Supervisory Board, with newly elected representatives joining the board. Professor Dr.-Ing. Achim Kampker, founder and chair of Production Engineering of E-Mobility Components (PEM) at RWTH Aachen University, was elected as a new shareholder representative. Boris Schwürz, Chairman of the MAHLE Central Works Council, and Ljiljana Culjak, Chairwoman of the Works Council of MAHLE Behr GmbH & Co. KG, were newly elected as employee representatives. Professor Dr. Junker was re-elected as Chairman, and Boris Schwürz was elected as Deputy Chairman. Claudia Diem and Dr. Rolf Breidenbach continue to serve as shareholder representatives. The rotation aims to ensure diverse and experienced leadership for MAHLE GmbH’s future success.

(PRESS RELEASE) STUTTGART, 1-Jun-2023 — /EuropaWire/ —  MAHLE GmbH, one of the largest automotive suppliers worldwide, has recently undergone a reconstitution of its 20-member Supervisory Board. Following the newly elected representatives appointed by shareholders at the general assembly and the employee representatives selected by MAHLE Group employees in Germany, the board has been reconstituted in rotation.

During the shareholders’ general assembly, Professor Dr.-Ing. Achim Kampker was elected as a new shareholder representative to the Supervisory Board. Professor Kampker is the founder and chair of Production Engineering of E-Mobility Components (PEM) at RWTH Aachen University, bringing a wealth of expertise in the field.

Joining the board as newly elected employee representatives are Boris Schwürz, Chairman of the MAHLE Central Works Council, and Ljiljana Culjak, Chairwoman of the Works Council of MAHLE Behr GmbH & Co. KG. Their appointments further reinforce the representation of employee interests within the Supervisory Board.

In the board’s constitutive meeting, Professor Dr. Junker was re-elected as the Chairman of the Supervisory Board, while Boris Schwürz was elected as the Deputy Chairman, assuming key leadership roles.

The Supervisory Board has also benefited from the expertise of Claudia Diem, former member of the Board of Management of BW Bank, and Dr. Rolf Breidenbach, former Chairman of the Management Board of Hella GmbH & Co. KGaA, who have been serving as shareholder representatives since January 2023.

This rotation of the MAHLE GmbH Supervisory Board underscores the commitment to diverse and experienced leadership, ensuring effective governance and strategic decision-making for the company’s continued success.
