(PRESS RELEASE) STUTTGART, 2-Sep-2026 — /EuropaWire/ — MAHLE Lifecycle and Mobility will present five world premieres at Automechanika Frankfurt 2026, showcasing new digital services, workshop concepts, A/C service equipment, mobile servicing solutions and sustainable filtration technology.

Under the motto “Your Growth. Our Expertise.”, MAHLE will highlight how it is building a more connected digital ecosystem for independent workshops and distributors.

The ecosystem brings together spare parts, diagnostics, workshop equipment, technical knowledge and new business models designed to support workshops as they evolve into increasingly digital mobility service providers.

At the centre of the strategy is the new MAHLE Workshop Portal, which combines technical information, expert support, training resources, AI-powered functionality and digital services in one platform.

MAHLE will also introduce the MAHLE Climate Expert workshop concept, a new generation of ArcticPRO® A/C service units, MAHLE Mobile Service, and the CareMetix® Natural cabin air filter featuring sheep’s wool.

Automechanika Frankfurt 2026 will take place from 8 to 12 September 2026 in Frankfurt am Main. MAHLE Lifecycle and Mobility will exhibit across approximately 400 square metres in Hall 9.

Philipp Grosse Kleimann, Member of the MAHLE Management Committee and Head of MAHLE Lifecycle and Mobility, said the new workshop ecosystem is designed to support the transformation of traditional repair businesses into the digital mobility service centres of the future.

He said MAHLE aims to provide distributors and workshops with tools that improve productivity, create new business opportunities and support sustainable growth.

World Premiere 1: MAHLE Workshop Portal

The new MAHLE Workshop Portal is designed as a central digital platform for technicians, service advisors and workshop owners.

It brings together technical information, training, services and expert knowledge from across MAHLE.

A central feature is an integrated ticketing system that allows users to send diagnostic and repair-related questions directly to MAHLE specialists and receive expert support for issues encountered during day-to-day workshop operations.

The platform also includes technical documentation, webinars, industry updates and marketing materials.

An AI-powered assistant called MIA, the MAHLE Intelligent Assistant, supports users with research tasks and product searches.

A bonus programme rewards training activities, portal use and product purchases.

Thanks to responsive design, the portal can be accessed on smartphones, tablets and desktop devices.

World Premiere 2: MAHLE Climate Expert workshop concept

MAHLE is also launching the MAHLE Climate Expert programme for independent workshops.

The concept combines original-equipment expertise, workshop equipment, technical knowledge and marketing support in a package designed to position participating businesses as specialists in climate and thermal management.

Workshops will receive support for professional branding, targeted marketing and a dedicated online presence where end customers can book services directly.

Digital campaigns and search-engine marketing are also intended to increase workshop visibility and generate new customer contacts.

Regular training programmes will help participating workshops strengthen their expertise and develop additional service revenue.

World Premiere 3: New ArcticPRO® A/C service units

MAHLE will debut a completely redesigned generation of ArcticPRO® A/C service units at Automechanika 2026.

The new product family is designed to improve productivity, ease of use and future readiness for modern workshops.

Four performance levels will be available to address different workshop sizes and service requirements.

The new units support refrigerants R134a, R1234yf, R444A and R456A and incorporate fully automated, AI-assisted service processes.

Touchscreens of up to 10 inches, intuitive user guidance and integrated audio and video tutorials are intended to simplify operation and reduce training requirements for technicians.

Connectivity functions and automatic software updates help keep the equipment current over time.

World Premiere 4: MAHLE Mobile Service

The new MAHLE Mobile Service concept is designed to bring workshop services directly to customers.

Specially equipped service vehicles will enable workshops to perform a broad range of repair and maintenance activities on-site.

Services can include oil changes, brake servicing, inspections, diagnostics, software updates, starter battery replacement and servicing, minor electrical repairs, air-conditioning work and high-voltage battery diagnostics.

MAHLE said the concept will allow workshops to develop new business models while reaching additional customer groups beyond traditional workshop locations.

World Premiere 5: CareMetix® Natural cabin air filter

The fifth innovation is the CareMetix® Natural cabin air filter, the latest addition to MAHLE’s CareMetix portfolio.

For the first time, MAHLE is using sheep’s wool as part of the filter medium.

The company said this helps lower the product’s carbon footprint without compromising filtration performance.

The filter removes particles and pollutants from cabin air while also reducing volatile organic compounds, or VOCs, helping provide cleaner and lower-odour air inside the vehicle.

The design also reduces reliance on materials that can contribute to microplastic generation.

MAHLE said the product has been developed for a long service life and consistently high filtration performance.

Grosse Kleimann said the new filter demonstrates how MAHLE is using innovation to improve everyday comfort and well-being for people travelling in vehicles.
