MAHLE Brings Workshop Equipment, Technical Support and Training Under One UK Sales Team

(IN BRIEF) MAHLE will begin selling workshop equipment directly through its UK Aftermarket sales team, giving customers one contact for product information, quotations, technical advice and support. The new model is supported by local stock at MAHLE’s Bilston warehouse in the West Midlands, helping improve availability and shorten delivery times. A dedicated field engineer and service van will also provide on-site installation, demonstrations, technical support and training for workshops. The range includes A/C service equipment, transmission oil service tools, ADAS calibration systems and diagnostic equipment.

(PRESS RELEASE) BILSTON, UK, 7-Jul-2026 — /EuropaWire/ — MAHLE is changing the way it supplies workshop equipment in the United Kingdom, moving to a direct sales model through its established UK Aftermarket sales team.

For the first time, customers will be able to purchase MAHLE workshop equipment directly from the company’s aftermarket organisation rather than through a separate company structure. The change is intended to give workshops and distribution partners a single point of contact for product enquiries, quotations, technical guidance and ongoing customer support.

The new approach brings workshop equipment into MAHLE’s existing aftermarket operation and is designed to strengthen relationships with customers while simplifying access to products and technical expertise.

Product availability will be supported by local inventory held at MAHLE’s Bilston warehouse in the West Midlands. The facility has supplied more than 15,000 references since 2009, including filters, engine components, gaskets, rotating electrics, air-conditioning parts and engine-cooling products. Holding workshop equipment locally is expected to reduce lead times and give UK customers faster access to the equipment they require.

MAHLE is also expanding its service offer through a dedicated field engineer and mobile service van. The new support capability will provide installations, technical assistance, live product demonstrations and training directly at customer workshops.

The UK workshop equipment range includes air-conditioning service units, transmission oil service equipment, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems calibration machines and diagnostic tools. MAHLE said the products are intended to help workshops improve productivity, efficiency and profitability as vehicle technology becomes increasingly complex.

Andy Lees, Head of Western Europe at MAHLE Lifecycle and Mobility, said the United Kingdom is an important growth market for MAHLE Service Solutions.

“By combining direct sales, local availability and on-site technical support, we are making it easier for workshops to access the products, expertise and training they need to succeed,” Lees said.

Delivering training at customer premises is intended to reduce travel requirements for technicians, limit disruption to daily operations and provide practical instruction in a real workshop environment.

The direct-sales model forms part of MAHLE’s wider effort to support UK workshops with equipment, service and training as they adapt to evolving automotive technologies.
