(PRESS RELEASE) STUTTGART, 4-Sep-2024 — /EuropaWire/ — In a creative twist, MAHLE Aftermarket is rolling out a new campaign that celebrates auto mechanics as the unsung heroes of the automotive world. Titled “MAHLE Workshop Heroes,” this global campaign, set to debut at the Automechanika 2024 trade show, draws inspiration from blockbuster movies to put the spotlight on mechanics and their crucial role in keeping vehicles on the road.

The campaign features a series of cinematic-themed posters with titles like “The Thermonator,” “The Filter and the Furious,” and “Diagnostix Reloaded.” These playful nods to famous films are designed to highlight the essential work mechanics do every day, supported by MAHLE’s cutting-edge products and services. The campaign, developed with the Hamburg-based agency weigertpirouzwolf, will be launched across social media, print ads, and directly in workshops around the world.

Philipp Grosse Kleimann, Member of the MAHLE Management Committee and Head of the Aftermarket business unit, emphasized the importance of the campaign: “Mechanics are the real heroes in our industry, ensuring that customers stay on the move. As a full-service provider, MAHLE supports them with top-quality parts and advanced diagnostic tools, essential for navigating the increasingly diverse automotive landscape.”

The campaign not only showcases MAHLE’s extensive range of products for both traditional combustion engines and modern electric vehicles but also highlights the company’s commitment to education and training through its MAHLE Technical Messenger Service. Visitors to the MAHLE booth at Automechanika will have the opportunity to see these “movie posters” and the products they feature up close.

MAHLE’s presence at the Automechanika trade show includes a 450 m² booth displaying a wide array of filters, engine components, and thermal management parts. The company will also introduce its new BatteryPRO product line, a CO2 A/C service unit with a climate-neutral refrigerant, and the latest TechPRO® 2 diagnostic tool. MAHLE’s technological expertise will be on full display, with exhibits at three locations within the Frankfurt exhibition grounds.
