LOC Group: Jerome Rutler to succeed Andrew Squire as Group CEO

ABERDEEN, 24-Oct-2017 — /EuropaWire/ — On 1 January 2018, Jerome Rutler, current Group COO, will take over from Andrew Squire as Group CEO. Andrew will take on a new role as Group Deputy Chairman.

Jerome Rutler joined LOC as Group COO in March 2016 bringing with him more than 20 years’ experience in the oil & gas, petrochemicals and marine industries for a variety of companies, EPCI (engineering, procurement, construction and installation), consultancy and technical advisory.

Andrew Squire has worked for LOC since 1982, the past ten years as Group CEO.

On announcing the appointments, Group Chairman, Dr Robin Bidwell, CBE said:

Customer relationships and delivering the highest quality of services are the cornerstone of LOC. As we continue to grow our scope of capabilities as well as our geographical footprint it is vital that we maintain and enhance the qualities that LOC is known for, across the world. Asking Andrew to take on a newly created executive role as my deputy will enable us to do just that.”

Jerome joined us just over a year ago and has already made his mark across the Group. I am delighted that he has agreed to take on the challenge of Group CEO and I have every confidence that, under his stewardship, LOC will continue to grow”.

On accepting his new role, Andrew Squire said:
