(IN BRIEF) Kuehne+Nagel has announced an investment in a new Container Freight Station in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, scheduled for completion in June 2027, which will provide more than 20,000 square metres of warehouse space and more than triple the company’s CFS capacity in the country. The facility is strategically located near major transport gateways, including Phnom Penh Autonomous Port, Sihanoukville Autonomous Port, Phnom Penh International Airport and cross-border road links to Thailand and Vietnam, supporting cargo flows within Cambodia and across the region. Designed for cargo consolidation and handling, the site will feature a raised-floor warehouse, loading doors, dock levellers, a floor loading capacity of five tonnes per square metre, and expected certifications to ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards. (PRESS RELEASE) PHNOM PENH, 14-Aug-2026 — /EuropaWire/ — Kuehne+Nagel has announced an investment in a new Container Freight Station in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, strengthening its logistics infrastructure in one of Southeast Asia’s growing trade markets.

The new facility is scheduled for completion in June 2027 and will provide more than 20,000 square metres of warehouse space.

The investment will more than triple Kuehne+Nagel’s Container Freight Station capacity in Cambodia.

The expanded facility is designed to help customers manage increasing trade volumes and move goods more efficiently within Cambodia and across the wider region.

The new Container Freight Station will also support customers in the consumer goods industry, providing additional cargo consolidation and handling capacity.

Cambodia continues to develop its trade infrastructure.

In 2025, Phnom Penh Autonomous Port handled around 600,000 TEUs, while Sihanoukville Autonomous Port handled approximately 1.3 million TEUs.

Kuehne+Nagel said the new facility will complement this growth by strengthening access to key transport gateways.

The site is strategically located near Phnom Penh Autonomous Port, Sihanoukville Autonomous Port, Phnom Penh International Airport and cross-border road links to Thailand and Vietnam.

The location is intended to facilitate cargo movements across Cambodia and support regional logistics operations.

He said the facility’s direct access to major transport gateways and regional trade corridors will support customers in the consumer goods industry as they respond to evolving supply chains and growing trade opportunities across the region.

The new Container Freight Station has been designed for cargo consolidation and handling operations.

It will include a raised-floor warehouse equipped with loading doors and dock levellers.
