(PRESS RELEASE) WÖRRSTADT, 14-Jun-2024 — /EuropaWire/ — In anticipation of Intersolar 2024, JUWI announces significant milestones and the launch of new major projects, underscoring its leadership in renewable energy. The completion of the 223.6 megawatt “Pike Solar” park in Colorado elevates JUWI’s total installed solar capacity to over 4,000 megawatts. The company also reveals plans for additional large-scale projects exceeding 100 megawatts each.

At Intersolar 2024 in Munich from June 19 to 21, JUWI will showcase its comprehensive range of project development and operation services for solar and hybrid projects at a joint booth with MVV Trading in Hall A4, Stand 550. Key focuses include direct solar power supply to industrial clients, highlighted by the construction of a ten-megawatt solar park for SPIES Packaging in Melle, Lower Saxony. This project will directly power the company’s manufacturing facility through dedicated infrastructure.

Carsten Bovenschen, CEO of JUWI GmbH, emphasizes, “We have a robust project pipeline aimed at surpassing the 5,000 megawatt mark in installed solar capacity. Particularly in Germany, we are increasingly focusing on industrial clients and integrating storage solutions.” JUWI is advancing with multiple solar park constructions in the US, including three projects totaling over 500 megawatts in Colorado. Notable among these are the ongoing “Spanish Peaks” project and recent sales to Tri-State energy supplier for the Axial Basin Solar and Dolores Canyon Solar projects.

Operations management services and cybersecurity solutions also feature prominently at JUWI’s Intersolar presence. The company offers comprehensive management, maintenance, and remote monitoring services for solar farms, alongside specialized solutions like Secure Connect for secure data network integration.

The revitalization of solar parks through module replacement is another pivotal aspect. JUWI has replaced approximately 720,000 modules across 18 solar parks, totaling 119 megawatts, addressing degradation and leveraging opportunities under Germany’s EEG 2023 provisions.

Launching alongside these developments is JUWI’s revamped employer branding initiative, aimed at attracting new talent amidst expansion plans. With a commitment to sustainability and collaborative culture, JUWI seeks to reinforce its position as a leader in renewable energy ahead of Intersolar 2024.
