From August 21 to 24, attendees will witness live demonstrations of the KKS automatic coupling system, featuring the new King Pin Finder camera guidance system, and other groundbreaking products aimed at addressing industry challenges such as driver shortages and sustainability.

Key Innovations on Display

KKS Automatic Coupling System

The KKS system allows drivers to couple and uncouple semi-trailers via remote control without leaving the cab, enhancing safety, efficiency, and comfort. The system uses sensor technology to guide the driver through the coupling process, providing real-time information on the KKS remote control. This innovation eliminates the need for manual tasks such as opening the fifth wheel and connecting air and brake lines.

King Pin Finder

JOST’s new King Pin Finder integrates a camera into the fifth wheel coupling, displaying live images on the driver’s dashboard. This assists drivers in finding the optimal coupling height and positioning, even when approaching at an angle, thus enhancing safety and reducing the risk of accidents.

ROCKINGER Drawbar Finder

The Drawbar Finder features a centrally positioned camera above the towing hitch, aiding in precise coupling by providing horizontal and vertical guidance. This system prevents misalignment of the drawbar eye, increasing efficiency and safety during the coupling process.

Intelligent Axle Systems

JOST will also present its intelligent axle systems, including the DCA, DLS, and ZGA series, which offer customizable solutions for various vehicle configurations. The Command Steer Axle (CSA) is compatible with all common steering systems and offers low steering roll radius, reducing actuation force and increasing design flexibility.

TRIDEC EF-S Electronic Steering System

The CSA, paired with TRIDEC-brand steering systems, showcases superior maneuverability in tight spaces. The EF-S electronic steering system allows for the use of up to three CSA axles, adaptable to the available installation space and required maneuverability.

DMA Drum Modular Axle

The new DMA series ensures maximum flexibility and ease of maintenance with its external brake drum design, allowing brake linings to be replaced without disassembling the wheel hub. The DMA system is designed for robust performance and minimal repair efforts.

RO*RS CM75 Rear Tail System

The RORS CM75 is a comprehensive rear tail system from ROCKINGER, comprising the cross member ROCM75N, side plates SPUB, and the rigid underrun bar RO*RUB75. This system is homologated according to ECE standards and contributes significantly to vehicle safety.
