Jan De Nul once again ‘Company with a heart!’

Aalst, Belgium, 26-Oct-2017 — /EuropaWire/ — No less than 100 Jan De Nul NV employees in Aalst donated blood to the Red Cross. This is the third consecutive year Jan De Nul organises the blood donation drive and renews its ‘Company with a heart!’ certificate.

Director Dirk De Nul explains: “The Blood donation drive is already an established fact within the company and falls within the framework of our internal FIT programme, which was launched earlier this year. FIT stands for Food, In Balance and Training & Sports, and intends to motivate our employees to eat healthier, pay attention to one another’s well-being and exercise more.”

Enthusiastic ‘In Balance’ instigator Eline Vandenbroeck specifies: “Other people’s well-being is important for our own well-being. Helping others automatically makes you feel better yourself. It increases your health and stress resistance. For us, these are plenty of reasons to stimulate our colleagues to donate blood. Our hearts are in the right place and we are convinced that together, we can make a difference.”
