Investor AB Announces New President and CEO Christian Cederholm, Johan Forssell to Transition to Consultancy Role

(IN BRIEF) Investor AB has announced the appointment of Christian Cederholm as its new President and CEO, effective from the Annual General Meeting on May 7, 2024. Cederholm, who currently serves as the Head of Patricia Industries and has been with Investor since 2001, will succeed Johan Forssell. Forssell will transition into a consultancy role focused on industrial companies and board work, while also resigning from Investor’s Board of Directors at the AGM. Jacob Wallenberg, Chair of the Board at Investor, expressed confidence in Cederholm’s ability to lead the company forward and praised Forssell’s contributions. Cederholm, in turn, expressed excitement about the opportunity and his commitment to developing and positioning Investor and its portfolio companies for the future.

(PRESS RELEASE) STOCKHOLM, 5-Dec-2023 — /EuropaWire/ — Investor’s Board of Directors has appointed Christian Cederholm as new President and CEO, effective from the Annual General Meeting (AGM) 7 May 2024. He will succeed Johan Forssell who will transition into a consultancy role, as industrial advisor focusing on industrial companies and board work. Johan Forssell will also resign from Investor’s Board of Directors at the AGM.

Christian Cederholm comes from a role as Head of Patricia Industries and has been employed by Investor since 2001. He holds a M.Sc. in Economics and Business Administration from Stockholm School of Economics and lives in Stockholm with his family. Christian is currently a board member at Hi3G Scandinavia and Mölnlycke.
