Icade CEO Serge Grzybowski appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors at European Public Real Estate Association

CANNES, 17-3-2014 — /EuropaWire/ — At the last meeting of the EPRA Restricted Board of Directors, held on March 12, 2014 in Cannes, EPRA (European Public Real Estate Association) appointed Serge Grzybowski, Chairman and CEO of Icade, as Chairman of its Board of Directors.

EPRA, run by Philip Charls, includes the largest listed companies in the European real estate sector. It aims in particular to provide high-quality information to investors, while encouraging best practices and the cohesion and strengthening of the industry. Its 200 active members hold more than €250 billion in property assets.

A graduate of the IEP Paris and the ENA, Serge Grzybowski (FRICS) began his career as a civil servant with the Caisse des Dépôts from 1983 to 1987. From 1987 to 1989, he was civil servant with the Treasury Directorate (French Finance Ministry). From 1989 to 1991, he was Deputy Managing Director of the Bourdais Group (corporate property consultancy). In September 1992, he joined Banque la Henin (SUEZ Group), initially as Deputy Managing Director and subsequently as Managing Director, and from 1997 to 2000 he was director of BDPME, CEPME and Sofaris.

In 2001, Serge Grzybowski became Managing Director of Gecina until January 2006, when he joined HSBC as Property Consultant and Financial Institutions Director.

Serge Grzybowski was appointed Chairman and CEO of Icade on August 1, 2007.
Serge Grzybowski was President of France GBC (Green Building Council) from October 2010 to July 2013.
