Iberdrola recognized for climate action plans and transparency by CDP’s A List

(IN BRIEF) Spanish energy company Iberdrola has been included for another year in the Supplier Engagement Leaderboard compiled by CDP, a leading organization focused on the transparency and performance of climate practices. The list recognizes companies that excel at engaging their suppliers on climate change, measuring and reducing climate risk in their supply chains and taking action against climate change. Iberdrola has been engaging with its 20,000 suppliers globally on ESG objectives for several years and aims to have 85% of its 1,000 main suppliers worldwide governed by ESG criteria by 2025. The company has incorporated the Sustainable Development Goals into its business strategy and sustainability policy, with a focus on providing affordable and clean energy and taking climate action.
