Hiab Expands IAA TRANSPORTATION 2026 Offering With ZEPRO, DEL and Integrated Load Handling Solutions for Diverse Fleet Applications

(IN BRIEF) Hiab will showcase its ZEPRO-G tail lift and a range of application-specific load handling solutions at IAA TRANSPORTATION 2026 in Hanover from 15 to 20 September, focusing on fleet uptime, durability and lower total cost of ownership. Developed for demanding European operating conditions, ZEPRO-G features an upgraded galvanised finish and has undergone 30,000-cycle durability testing, with enhanced corrosion protection intended to extend equipment life and reduce downtime. Hiab will also display the ZEPRO Z75 for lighter last-mile and logistics applications, the heavy-duty ZEPRO Z2000 for waste and recycling operations, the ZEPRO ZT 2500 medium-duty slider and the DEL GB1000 column lift for gas-cylinder distribution, available in 1,000 kg and 1,500 kg capacities. Together with HAAS Tail Lift Systems GmbH, Hiab will demonstrate how integrated vehicle, body and tail lift solutions can improve efficiency, serviceability and reliability as fleets respond to electrification and changing operating demands. Visitors will find Hiab at Hall 27, Stand F37, with live demonstrations in the open-air area at Stand L45.

(PRESS RELEASE) HELSINKI, 7-Sep-2026 — /EuropaWire/ — Hiab will showcase its latest ZEPRO tail lift solutions at IAA TRANSPORTATION 2026 in Hanover, Germany, with a focus on improving fleet uptime, extending equipment life and reducing total cost of ownership across demanding logistics and transport applications.

Taking place from 15 to 20 September 2026, IAA TRANSPORTATION will provide Hiab and HAAS Tail Lift Systems GmbH with a platform to demonstrate how integrated vehicle, body and tail lift solutions can help fleet operators respond to growing pressures around reliability, electrification, operational efficiency and lifecycle costs.

A central feature of Hiab’s exhibition will be the ZEPRO-G, which incorporates an upgraded galvanised finish developed for demanding European fleet environments and is backed by 30,000-cycle durability testing.

ZEPRO-G targets longer service life and higher fleet uptime

Hiab is placing durability and lifecycle performance at the centre of its IAA TRANSPORTATION presentation.

The ZEPRO-G has been developed with enhanced corrosion protection designed to withstand harsh operating conditions and support longer equipment life.

Its upgraded galvanised finish is intended to improve resistance to environmental exposure and reduce the maintenance burden associated with intensive commercial use.

According to Hiab, the product has undergone 30,000-cycle durability testing, supporting its positioning as a tail lift designed for sustained performance over demanding operating cycles.

For fleet operators, the company says the combination of corrosion resistance and long-term durability can contribute to lower lifecycle costs, reduced downtime and higher vehicle availability.

Application-specific tail lifts address different fleet requirements

Alongside ZEPRO-G, Hiab will present a range of tail lifts designed around specific operating environments and industry requirements.

The ZEPRO Z75 is positioned for lighter last-mile and general logistics applications, including waste and recycling operations, with an emphasis on strength, stability and durability.

The ZEPRO Z2000 is intended for heavier-duty waste and recycling applications where operators require higher power, durability and reliable performance across varying weather conditions.

For medium-duty applications, the ZEPRO ZT 2500 slider lift combines steel construction, advanced hydraulics, weather protection and intuitive controls designed to support dependable operation and efficient maintenance.

Hiab will also feature the DEL GB1000, a column lift developed specifically for gas-cylinder distribution.

Available with 1,000 kg and 1,500 kg lifting capacities, the DEL solution is designed to prioritise safety and operational compliance while using a high-strength, lightweight construction intended to preserve payload capacity and improve vehicle utilisation.

Integrated solutions target total cost of ownership

Hiab said its presence at IAA TRANSPORTATION will demonstrate how tail lift performance needs to be considered as part of the wider vehicle and body integration rather than as an isolated component.

Working with HAAS Tail Lift Systems GmbH, the company will show how coordinated vehicle, body and lift configurations can help operators minimise downtime while improving serviceability and operating efficiency.

This systems-based approach is particularly relevant as transport fleets face increasing pressure to optimise asset utilisation while transitioning toward electrified commercial vehicles.

The company is therefore positioning reliability, durability and integration as important contributors to lower total cost of ownership, particularly for fleets where loading and unloading equipment is used repeatedly throughout each working day.

Live demonstrations to focus on real-world fleet operations

Hiab will offer live product demonstrations throughout IAA TRANSPORTATION 2026, giving visitors the opportunity to inspect and compare solutions designed for practical day-to-day fleet operations.

Company specialists will also be available to discuss tailored integrations and specific fleet requirements with operators, bodybuilders and other transport-industry professionals.

Ross Townshend, Director, Global Product Management, Tail Lifts at Hiab, said fleet operators are under continuous pressure to keep vehicles operational while controlling lifecycle costs and adjusting to changing operating requirements.

He said Hiab intends to demonstrate how robust equipment, integrated solutions and service support can help customers achieve those objectives in real-world fleet environments.

Hiab to exhibit at two locations in Hanover

Visitors to IAA TRANSPORTATION 2026 will be able to meet the Hiab team at two locations at the Hanover exhibition.

The company’s main stand will be located in Hall 27, Stand F37, while live equipment demonstrations will take place in the open-air section at Stand L45.

Hiab will also offer expert consultations and one-to-one media interviews during the exhibition.
