Hartmut Mehdorn resigned from the Board of Directors of Air Berlin PLC

18-3-2013 — /europawire.eu/ — Hartmut Mehdorn resigned from his position as Non-Executive Director with immediate effect at today’s meeting of the Board of Directors of Air Berlin PLC. He had been a member of the Board of Directors of Air Berlin PLC since 1st July 2009. From 1st September 2011 to 7th January 2013, Hartmut Mehdorn led Germany’s second largest airline on an interim basis as Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Commenting on Hartmut Mehdorn’s departure, Hans-Joachim Körber, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Air Berlin PLC, said: “On behalf of Air Berlin PLC, I would like to thank Hartmut Mehdorn for the work he has done.
