Greenpark Solution chooses Atos Worldline for its contactless payment system KiWhi Pass

Greenpark based its contactless prepaid payment solution for recharging stations serving electronic and hybrid vehicles on Cashless technology offered by Atos Worldline

Paris, 16-11-2012 — /europawire.eu/ — Atos Worldline, Atos core expertise in High-Tech Transactional Services, has been chosen by Greenpark, an expert in managing recharging stations for electric vehicles and rechargeable hybrids, for its expertise in the field of contactless payment. Atos Worldline is supporting Greenpark throughout the entire process, from card issue to payment management. Focusing specifically on micro-payment, the KiWhi Pass solution created by Greenpark and developed by Atos Worldline simplifies the life of users by giving them an Internet and mobile recharging solution and a consumption monitoring tool. It also enables Greenpark to learn more about its customers and to offer personalised deals to both users and managers of recharging stations.

This new payment solution can be used to pay at any of the ever expanding number of recharging stations within France and across Europe; without the need for additional infrastructure. KiWhi Pass, based on the Cashless solution from Atos Worldline, was designed to be interoperable and to facilitate the use of a single card by both electronic vehicle users and recharging station operators.

“We have assigned the development of the KiWhi Pass, our payment and management solution for recharging stations for electric vehicles and rechargeable hybrids, to Atos Worldline to ensure secure payment flows thanks to their expertise in electronic banking,” says Thierry Meignan, Chairman of Greenpark Solution.

The solution includes a back office tool for Greenpark enabling it to trace financial flows, propose personalised offers and monitor user statistics. Moreover, the prepaid solution provides Greenpark with a guarantee as to the solvency of its customers.

About Greenpark Solution

Greenpark Solution was founded in 2011 and has since developed an expertise in managing recharging stations for electric vehicles and rechargeable hybrids. Faced with the complete absence of a micro-payment solution for electric vehicle recharging, whether on company premises for employees or EV fleets, co-owned stations intended for vehicle renters and owners or stations on public routes or at shopping centres, the company designed the KiWhi Pass solution. Recognised as an innovative company by OSEO, then subsequently issuer of electronic money by Banque de France, Greenpark Solution is now working with the entire sector to promote this solution which provides interoperability between all stations across the country. It is working to increase its field of expertise to all countries interested in this form of payment for service.
