Georg Jensen to Open Flagship Store on London’s Bond Street in 2023

(IN BRIEF) Georg Jensen, a Danish jewellery designer, is set to open a new flagship store at 108 Bond Street by the end of 2023. The three-story store will cover approximately 5,000 sq ft and showcase the brand’s designer jewellery, silver hollowware, and homeware collections. The store is strategically located near other luxury brands and is part of the thriving luxury retail area around Bond Street. The move comes after a two-year search for a suitable flagship location following the brand’s departure from Mount Street.

(PRESS RELEASE) LONDON, 22-Aug-2023 — /EuropaWire/ — The store, which provides approximately 5,000sq ft of retail accommodation set over three floors, will display Georg Jensen’s full range of designer jewellery, silver holloware and homeware collections. The designer has taken a new 10-year lease.

108 Bond Street is located immediately adjacent to Diptyque’s new largest London store and opposite a plethora of exciting brands opening their doors in the coming months including Dsquared, Hackett and Bang & Olufsen alongside Opera Gallery’s new home. The newly opened Elizabeth line in Hanover Square, immediately behind this part of Bond Street, provides access to Heathrow within 30 minutes.

Anthony Selwyn, director of Savills, who acted for the landlord comments: “These are exciting times for the pitch just north of Brook street with little availability now following the substantial redevelopment of these buildings. This part of New Bond Street will now truly provide the final piece of London’s premier luxury location.

“Georg Jensen offer style and elegance with all their collections. With St Regis and Mandarin hotels sure to bring additional luxury spend and clientele to the area, Bond Street will continue to command global recognition and a key part of a brand’s empire.’

Stephen Kane, CEO of Stephen Kane & Company, who represent Georg Jensen, adds: “The acquisition of 108 NBS follows a two-year search for a suitable flagship to show all the brand’s products in an appropriately exciting and prestigious environment following their departure from Mount Street.”
