Foundation Scotland: The Tannach & District Wind Farm Charitable Trust Fund seeks new Panel Members

EDINBURGH, 26-Oct-2017 — /EuropaWire/ — The Tannach & District Wind Farm Charitable Trust Fund is seeking up to six new Panel Members. Residents living in the Tannach & District Community Council area are being invited to put themselves forward to serve on the Panel which makes decisions on distributing funding from the Tannach & District Wind Farm Charitable Trust. The Tannach & District Community Council area includes the communities of Thrumster, Tannach, Newton Hill, Milton and Haster, a map of the Community Council area is available on The Highland Council web site.

The Fund operates two deadlines per year and meets three times per year to consider applications and make awards, and keep an overview of the spend and ensure the Fund priorities are being addressed. The Fund has c. £55,000 available per year to support projects that benefit people living in the Fund area.

The Trust allows up to 12 residents aged 16 or over to serve on the Tannach & District Community Trust Panel for a period of two – four years initially. Nominations are open until 3rd November 2017.
