Fokker Services received approval from EASA and FAA for its new component repair shop in Singapore

Singapore, 31-7-2013 — /EuropaWire/ — Fokker Services has received approval from EASA and FAA for its new component repair shop in Singapore. The component repair shop focuses on Regional Aircraft and serves its customers with Avionics, Hydraulics and limited structure component maintenance.

Fokker Technologies has been doing business in the Asia Pacific for many years. In order to adapt to the growing market, Fokker Services opened a new facility in Singapore in February 2012. With this addition in Singapore Fokker can serve its customers better, as the product portfolio of the Components, Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul department expands with the new facility.

Fokker continues to expand its global footprint with shops in the US, Europe and Asia. Fokker has been an ATR MRO partner since February 2012 and supports the ATR GMA (General Maintenance Agreement) for this region with base maintenance MRO services. In line with Fokker’s relationship between FS Schiphol and Gables, Fokker Services in Asia has also been assigned through Gables as Warranty Repair Station for their cockpit panels. Fokker Services is working hard to continue to expand its global service portfolio.
