Mak, previously leading EY’s Strategy and Transactions in the region, brings extensive experience in management consulting and corporate strategy, while Cotter, currently Oceania SaT Leader, will expand her role to enhance SaT capabilities across Asia-Pacific. (PRESS RELEASE) LONDON, 16-Jul-2024 — /EuropaWire/ — EY has appointed Yew-Poh Mak as the new Deputy Area Managing Partner for Asia-Pacific, succeeding Harsha Basnayake, who moves to the global role of EY Global Managing Partner – Business Administration & Risk. Additionally, Shannon Cotter has been named the new Strategy and Transactions (SaT) Leader for Asia-Pacific, effective July 1, 2024.

Yew-Poh Mak, previously leading EY’s Strategy and Transactions in Asia-Pacific, brings over 30 years of experience in management consulting and corporate leadership. His appointment underscores EY’s focus on driving capital allocation and strategy execution across the region under the new global strategy.

Shannon Cotter, currently serving as Oceania SaT Leader, will now lead SaT across Asia-Pacific. With over 25 years of expertise in infrastructure and service contracting projects, Cotter is set to enhance SaT’s capabilities and foster collaboration within EY’s global network.
