(PRESS RELEASE) ABERDEEN, 16-Dec-2024 — /EuropaWire/ — Global energy services provider Expro (NYSE: XPRO) has been awarded a contract exceeding $10 million to deliver an integrated well decommissioning solution. The package combines cutting-edge subsea safety systems with advanced surface processing designs, ensuring secure well entry and effective fluid management during the decommissioning process.

Expro will leverage its global support hub in Aberdeen to supply a tailored surface fluid management package along with its industry-leading 7-3/8” large-bore subsea test tree assembly (SSTTA). Renowned for its robust portfolio of standard and bespoke subsea solutions, Expro offers well access systems compatible with any Christmas tree type, capable of operating in open water or within a drilling riser with a blow-out preventer. Its surface well test systems are equally versatile, designed to adapt to specific well conditions and client requirements.

Iain Farley, Regional Vice President for Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa, emphasized Expro’s expertise: “Having supported the development of many of these fields, we bring a deep understanding of their lifecycle, which will be invaluable during this P&A campaign. Our technical know-how and commitment to service excellence will provide the client with significant technical and commercial benefits throughout the project.”

This contract reinforces Expro’s position as a leader in subsea safety systems and surface well test solutions, particularly in the P&A sector. It also underscores the company’s dedication to delivering top-tier equipment and maintaining the highest safety and service standards.
