Manufactured at Eviden’s Aix-en-Provence site, the card complements the company’s existing MLS Gateway family and offers advanced filtering, real-time anomaly detection, and reporting to ensure secure data transmission. Configurable alongside a critical-system CPU, the XMC1 can isolate traffic between open and secure domains and integrate with both third-party embedded computers and Eviden’s gateways. It supports multiple protocols including AFDX, is certifiable under DO-254 DAL A, and adheres to Common Criteria EAL 4+ standards. With technology from Cetrac.io, this product reinforces sovereign network security. It will be presented at SIAE 2025, booth Avantix S3.

By introducing a protocol break in its communication pathways, the XMC1 ensures the utmost security and autonomy of essential data networks.

Crafted end to end in France at Eviden’s Aix-en-Provence facility, the XMC1 leverages the deep expertise of our mission-critical teams to offer a home-grown alternative to international solutions. It seamlessly extends Eviden’s MLS Gateway product line, which already facilitates secure, bi-directional data exchange across networks of differing security classifications.

At its core, the XMC1 Ethernet switch card delivers robust data protection through advanced filtering mechanisms, real-time anomaly detection, and comprehensive reporting tools—safeguarding reliable information flow under all conditions.

When paired with a critical-system CPU card, the XMC1 can be configured to evolve alongside system requirements, partitioning traffic between open and classified zones via enforced protocol breaks for enhanced confidentiality. Whether mounted on mezzanine slots of third-party air-land, naval, or ground-based embedded computers or integrated with Eviden’s own MLS Gateways, this card fits into a broad spectrum of secure environments.

Built to the strictest standards of operational criticality, the XMC1 supports multiple communications protocols and complies with the AFDX avionics data-network standard. It is designed for DO-254 Design Assurance Level A certification and follows processes aligned to Common Criteria EAL 4+ certification. The card also incorporates cutting-edge hardware switching technology from partnering specialist Cetrac.io.
