(PRESS RELEASE) BRUSSELS, 21-Nov-2019 — /EuropaWire/ — EURid, the non-profit organisation responsible for the .eu, .ею and .ευ top-level domains has just announced this year’s winners of its .eu Web Awards competition. The 2019 .eu Web Awards winners are coming from Greece, Latvia, Germany, Netherlands and  Belgium and are listed below:

Commenting on the 6th .eu Web Awards, Giovanni Seppia, EURid External Relations Manager, said: 

“We are very excited about these winners of the 6th .eu Web Awards. As always, Jury had a very difficult time in coming to a decision, as all of the finalists’ websites were inspiring in their own ways. Therefore, the winners should be very proud!”

This year’s .eu competition had 139 nominations with nearly 5500 votes during the nomination and voting period. The .eu awards Gala event took place in Brussels, Belgium at the Theatre du Vaudeville on 20 November 2019 with BBC news presenter Sally Bundock hosting the evening for the fourth year in a row.  English singer-songwriter James Morrison, and Emilio Dosal, actor-dancer-choreographer were among the spectacular performers attending the the Gala.
