(PRESS RELEASE) MILAN, 6-Jul-2023 — /EuropaWire/ — Etrel, a Landis+Gyr company, and Repower Italia, an energy utility, charge point operator and e-mobility service provider, signed an agreement to accelerate the growth of Repower’s EV charging network in Italy.

Repower Italia has been a trusted provider of electric mobility services since 2011. They operate a network of over 1700 public and semi-private charging points. To support its charging network’s expansion, Repower Italia  recently selected  the scalable software set offered by OCEAN EV charge point & energy management software.

“In order to enhance our commercial proposition, we have been looking for a Partner who shared our key values such as reliability, innovation and flexibility. Thanks to Etrel we have developed a solution that accelerates and fosters our new EV network, Repower Charging Net, expanding at the same time our Corporate offering.” – states Ambrogio Cassini, eMobility team lead in Repower Italia.

Repower mainly focuses on the business and fleet charging segments, offering its  business partners the management and full control of their EV charging stations. From autonomous business partners that manage their networks themselves to those that join Repower Charging Net, exploiting Repower knowhow and support, it is key to ensure a unified user experience and service for all.

“We are proud to partner with Repower and support them in expanding their network,” said Miha Levstek, CEO at Etrel. “Customer intimacy is at the core of our existence, and therefore it is of utmost importance to cater to the needs of our business partners.  OCEAN EV charge point management software would allow them to upscale their existing charging network and services while maintaining a part of their own DNA.”

OCEAN’s deep integration capabilities and event-based automation will allow Repower to connect its established functionalities and services tightly, ensuring the same user experience across all platforms.

With the powerful Charge Point Operator system (CPO) and Fleet Management Module, providing asset monitoring and control, roaming, setting of tariffs and OCPP connectivity, Repower receives a solid foundation for further integrations and development of its network and offering dedicated to Corporations and their fleet managers. Leveraging OCEAN’s extensive API database allows Repower to connect its existing CRM, payment, invoicing, marketing services and mobile applications while utilizing some of OCEAN E-Mobility Service Provider (EMP) features required for an excellent e-mobility service and experience, like tariffs, billing, and user management.
