Estonia’s oldest and largest continuously operating brewery Saku Brewery opened new Tartu representation

On the 5-th of August Saku’s new representation will start in South Estonia.

15-8-2013 — /EuropaWire/ — The Tähtvere representation has several times bigger area than the former Tartu Office – approximately 1500 square metres-, which will serve as an office as well as a warehouse.

“The new rooms in Tartu will improve working conditions of our employees while being easily accessible to our clients at the same time. The previous small office has remained under feet of time” said Jaan Härms, the sales director of Saku Brewery. Location for the new representation was selected in co-operation with real estate developers, taking into account that this location in Tähtvere is emerging as a transport centre for several companies. There is a team of 20 sales people, warehouse and logistics specialists in the South Estonian representation. The representation is located at Tähtvere, Palsa tee 1.

Saku has divided its work between two regions – North and West Estonia, South and East Estonia. The North Estonian centre is located in the company’s headquarter in Saku, which carries the title of the capital of Estonian beer culture. “While historically North Estonian people have been mainly  Saku consumers, then by now the differences according to geographical regions have remarkably vanished, Härms noted. “It’s important for us to offer good products and just as good service for our clients all over Estonia.

With its 192 years history, Saku Brewery is Estonia’s oldest and largest continuously operating brewery. The goal of Saku is to offer consumers enjoyable refreshment and novel experiences through high-quality beverages. Since 2008, Saku Brewery has been a full member of international beer concern Calsberg Group, thus ranking in the international premier league of beer producers.
