EQT Becomes Official Private Markets Partner of Emirates GBR SailGP Team Through 2030

(PRESS RELEASE) STOCKHOLM, 22-Jul-2026 — /EuropaWire/ — EQT has entered into a multi-year global partnership with the Emirates Great Britain SailGP Team, becoming the team’s official private markets partner across the global SailGP championship calendar through 2030.

The partnership will give EQT prominent branding on the Emirates GBR F50 race boat, as well as access to premium hospitality and stakeholder engagement opportunities at SailGP events worldwide.

SailGP is an international racing championship in which national teams compete in high-performance F50 catamarans across events in EMEA, the Americas and Asia Pacific.

Since its launch in 2018, SailGP has become one of the world’s fastest-growing sports championships, with its audience increasing 12-fold.

EQT said the partnership reflects the alignment between SailGP’s focus on advanced technology, performance and constant improvement, and EQT’s own philosophy of continuous betterment.

The agreement also coincides with EQT’s refreshed global brand platform, “Better Never Ends”, which emphasises ongoing improvement across the firm’s investment approach, business-building strategy and global development.

As private markets become increasingly accessible to individual investors, EQT said building brand awareness beyond its traditional institutional investor base is becoming a more important strategic priority.

The Emirates GBR partnership is intended to support that objective by connecting EQT with wider global audiences across key markets.

Peter Beske Nielsen, Head of Global Wealth Solutions at EQT, said private markets are playing a growing role in value creation across the global economy.
