(PRESS RELEASE) MILAN, 18-Sep-2022 — /EuropaWire/ — A plataforma de moda Brasil Eco Fashion (BEF) estará em circuito internacional com desfiles e showroom de moda sustentável na Fashion Week Milan, que acontece de 20 a 26 de setembro, na Itália. Considerada a mais tradicional semana de moda na Europa, o evento em Milão reúne marcas globais, sobretudo as luxuosas grifes italianas que são referências no setor. A cidade apresenta ao mundo as tendências em modelagens e texturas atraindo compradores, influenciadores e imprensa especializada.
A 6ª edição da Brasil Eco Fashion Week (BEFW) garante espaço em Milão com sete empresas brasileiras orientadas pela sustentabilidade. Entre elas, seis estarão na passarela: Catarina Mina, KFBranding, Libertees, Ateliê Mão de Mãe, Meninos Rei e Vestô (veja anexo). A marca Simple Organic assina a beleza do evento e participa do showroom.
As marcas tem o apoio do Texbrasil, Programa de Internacionalização da Indústria Têxtil e de Moda Brasileira, mantido pela Associação Brasileira da Indústria Têxtil e de Confecção (Abit), em parceria com a Agência Brasileira de Promoção de Exportações e Investimentos (ApexBrasil).
A produção do evento é feita em parceria com a italiana Fashion Vibes, que já garantiu espaço alinhado com o propósito das marcas envolvidas. A Societá Umanitaria, no centro de Milão, é um antigo convento franciscano dos anos 400, onde há um salão com afrescos no teto. A instituição é reconhecida pelas lutas sociais e por apoiar a inclusão de pessoas por meio de formação, trabalho e educação, realizando também seminários e reuniões culturais.
Rafael Morais, diretor executivo e idealizador do BEFW, comenta que o evento é um ponto de inflexão. A exibição vai além de uma ação de internacionalização das marcas, porque tenta mudar o tom da conversa neste luxuoso cenário em Milão. “A ideia é apresentar materiais, indicar soluções da indústria brasileira e criar diálogos e conexões com o mercado internacional”, diz. O fato é que a moda vem sendo apontada como a principal vilã na crise climática. Isso porque é a segunda indústria mais poluidora do mundo pela alta emissão de CO2 e pela geração de resíduos. Para Rafael, é preciso encontrar alternativas para garantir o futuro do próprio setor. “A moda orientada pela sustentabilidade e circularidade é o único caminho. A missão da BEFW é ajudar as marcas pioneiras do Brasil a prosperar neste novo mercado de consumo”, justifica.
O tema da moda sustentável vem se fortalecendo orientado pelos Objetivos do Desenvolvimento Sustentável (ODS) da Organização das Nações Unidas, que tem metas para superar desafios ambientais e sociais do Brasil e do mundo até 2030. A Abit, por meio do programa Texbrasil, está engajada em apoiar ações desde produção mais limpa, transição energética, responsabilidade social, upcycling, redução e reuso de água. “Reunimos, inclusive, empresas num grupo que só cresce, a Liga de Sustentabilidade, onde trazemos informações, coletamos dados e compartilhamos boas práticas. Isso inclui desde produtoras de fios, tecidos e até confecções. Trabalhamos toda a cadeia”, explica Lilian Kadissi, Superintendente Executiva de Projetos Estratégicos da Abit.
É a segunda vez que o BEFW leva marcas para Milão. Em 2021, houve uma ótima repercussão, mas é preciso insistir para construir o Brasil como ícone no mercado de moda sustentável. “O resultado leva tempo. É preciso ter constância. Manter a presença em Milão é imprescindível para construir relacionamento e confiança com os compradores internacionais”, conclui Morais.
Sobre o evento Brasil Eco Fashion Week
A semana de moda sustentável é uma das ações anuais da plataforma Brasil Eco Fashion. Oevento gratuito e aberto ao público, apresenta espaços temáticos e conteúdos educacionais e de inspiração, desfiles, workshop, showroom, rodadas de negócios, exposições, interatividade e atividades de empreendedorismo. O evento reúne assuntos como cultivos orgânicos, certificações de materiais, consumo consciente, moda da Amazônia, biodesign, técnicas de upcycling, reciclagem têxtil, modelos de negócios para a moda circular e moda colaborativa, práticas de transparência, diversidade, ativismo, inclusão e comércio justo, inovação e tecnologias em prol da sustentabilidade.
As inscrições para showroom de marcas e o lineup de desfiles são definidos por meio de editais. As empresas são selecionadas por curadoria. Em 2022 a BEFW tem patrocínio master da Lojas Renner S/A e do Mercado Livre. O evento é realizado em parceria com a Unibes Cultural desde a primeira edição e segue em busca de novos parceiros.
A edição especial Milão em setembro acontece antes da edição nacional (novembro). A missão comercial na Itália envolve showroom e desfiles entre 20 e 22 de setembro..

Marcas que vão desfilar em Milão
Catarina Mina – a marca de 15 anos nasceu no Ceará sob liderança de Celina Hissa. Da confecção manual de acessórios à confecção de roupas, criou o projeto “Olê Rendeiras” com a a QAIR Brasil para promover o resgate e valorização da técnica Renda Bilro, ameaçada de extinção. A causa ajudou na inserção de jovens atraídos pelo tema moda e o trabalho artesanal envolve 100 artesãs. Em Milão, apresenta também peças de algodão colorido orgânico da Paraíba, cuja pluma já nasce em tons de bege e marrom. A matéria-prima é cultivada pela agricultura familiar em assentamentos rurais na região do semiárido. Por ser cultivado sem irrigação e por dispensar tingimentos, o produto final economiza 87,5% de água no processo produtivo.
Ateliê Mão de Mãe – A marca da Bahia é formada por Vinicius Santanna, Patrik Fortuna e Luciene Santana. A base da criação é o crochê. A produção, iniciada há dois anos, envolve um coletivo com 25 mulheres crocheteiras. Este trabalho, feito 100% à mão, permite colocar sentimentos e exclusividade nas peças. A proposta é valorizar a arte e a mão de obra artesanal contribuindo com a manutenção dos saberes locais. Há um trabalho contínuo de capacitação que contribui para engajar mulheres promovendo o senso de colaboração e de comunidades fortalecendo, assim, a expressão cultural e a colaboração.
KFBranding – No mercado há quatro anos, a marca nascida na Bahia e sediada em São Paulo, produz roupas com materiais sustentáveis e tem como objetivo contar histórias e estimular o consumo consciente. Kel Ferey trabalha o contexto da economia circular para reforçar a importância dos 3Rs (reduzir, reutilizar e reciclar). Nesta coleção, a peças são resultado do reaproveitamento de tecidos e de materiais de outlets individuais e de cooperativas. Portanto, a coleção “Reciclar” destaca tecidos resistentes e de ótima qualidade que se tornariam resíduos em aterros sanitários. O propósito é valorizar o trabalho das cooperativas que fazem um importante trabalho socioambiental, gerando milhares de empregos no Brasil, sobretudo para mulheres.
Libertees – Fundada por Daniela Queiroga e Marcella Mafra em 2017, em Minas Gerais, a grife traz a transformação social por meio da moda como uma de suas maiores causas. Para isso, trabalha com a mão de obra de mulheres em privação de liberdade, em parceria com o Sistema Prisional do Estado. Em Milão, apresenta “A Prosa da Rua”, uma coleção inspirada no movimento Hip Hop, desenvolvida pelas diretoras criativas e pela estilista Ana Paula Sudano. A coleção contém peças versáteis, confortáveis, feitas com tecidos ecológicos e estampas exclusivas. A estética urbana tem pegada jovem, moderna, sensual e romântica.
Meninos Rei – Com modelagens ousadas e criações afro-urbanas, a Meninos Rei, da Bahia, faz reverência à ancestralidade exaltando a cultura e as expressões locais. A marca foi criada há oito anos pelos irmãos Céu Rocha e Júnior Rocha com a proposta de quebrar padrões do vestuário masculino e fomentar a cadeia produtiva do Estado, dando voz e espaço para fornecedores locais, sobretudo artesãos. A Meninos Rei veste com autenticidade, representatividade e originalidade. Entre suas ações de responsabilidade social, doa os resíduos da confecção para a comunidade, fomentando o desenvolvimento de novos produtos.
Vestô – A marca nasceu no Rio de Janeiro em 2017. Liderada por Najat Hassan, utiliza matérias-primas naturais e artesanais com tecidos orgânicos e/ou tecidos sustentáveis, sempre priorizando fornecedores e matérias-primas com certificações. As roupas são tingidas à mão com ingredientes naturais com pigmentos derivados de minerais e plantas colhidas de raízes, caules, folhas e flores. Os insumos são fornecidos por cooperativas e associações da agricultura familiar que vivem nas regiões brasileiras do Cerrado, dos Campos do Sul, do Sertão e da Amazônia, respeitando os padrões de manejo florestal em áreas de desenvolvimento sustentável.
