Their Memorandum of Understanding outlines a comprehensive EV system for medium-duty vehicles, featuring BAE Systems’ power-dense electric motor and advanced silicon carbide/gallium nitride power electronics suite integrated with Eaton’s MD 4-speed EV transmission. BAE Systems’ Gen3 electric drive solution, developed and serviced at facilities in Endicott, New York and Rochester, UK, has powered low- and zero-emission platforms on land and sea for over 25 years.
