Dürr Launches EcoPump GW iD Gear Metering Pump for Industrial Coating Applications

The EcoPump GW iD is designed for industrial painting processes.

(IN BRIEF) Dürr has launched the EcoPump GW iD, a new gear-type metering pump designed for precise paint dosing in industrial coating applications using common 1K and 2K coating materials. The pump offers flow rates from 9 to 900 ml/min and is compatible with Dürr’s ready2integrate concept, allowing the control system, metering technology and applicator to be delivered as a coordinated, preconfigured solution for faster installation and improved process reliability. To support durable and consistent coating performance, all models include an Amorphous Diamond-Like Carbon (ADLC) coating, while optional features such as a bypass valve and a patented shaft bearing in flushable models help protect downstream equipment, reduce maintenance and extend service life. The EcoPump GW iD can be integrated into Fluid Board2, retrofitted onto Fluid Board1, or installed as a standalone component, giving customers flexibility when upgrading or expanding existing paint application systems.

The EcoPump GW iD series is suitable for a broad range of industrial coating processes that require accurate volumetric delivery of consistent coating quantities.

With flow rates ranging from 9 to 900 ml/min, the pump can be adapted to different application requirements.

The new pump is also compatible with Dürr’s ready2integrate concept.

Reliable coating quality and process stability

All EcoPump GW iD models come standard with an Amorphous Diamond-Like Carbon coating, known as ADLC.

This coating is designed to provide high durability and help maintain surface quality over the long term.

For additional operational reliability, the EcoPump GW iD is optionally available with a bypass valve.

In addition to its pressure-relief function, the valve opens automatically in the event of overpressure.

This helps protect downstream application equipment from potential operating errors and process disruptions.

Flushable models also feature a patented shaft bearing.

According to Dürr, this significantly extends the service life of the pump, helping reduce maintenance and repair costs while improving operational reliability.

Flexible integration into dosing systems

The EcoPump GW iD forms part of Fluid Board2, which combines all components needed for high-precision paint metering within a compact footprint.

This makes the system easy and efficient to integrate into painting processes.

For existing applications, the pump can also be retrofitted onto Fluid Board1, providing additional flexibility for upgrades.

The new EcoPump GW iD is also compatible with existing systems and can be retrofitted as a standalone component at any time.
