Dr. Beate Bungartz to succeed Anke Felder as Corporate Executive Vice President Human Resources and member of MAHLE Group Management Board

Appointed as new Management Board Member and Executive Vice President Human Resources of MAHLE: Dr. Beate Bungartz

(PRESS RELEASE) STUTTGART, 12-Jul-2022 — /EuropaWire/ — MAHLE GmbH, one of the largest automotive suppliers worldwide, has announced that its Supervisory Board has appointed Dr. Beate Bungartz, 53, as Corporate Executive Vice President Human Resources and new member of MAHLE Group Management Board in succession of Anke Felder, 50, as she has chosen not to extend her contract. Dr. Bungartz comes from Kautex Textron GmbH & Co. KG, Bonn and her new position will be in effect as of January 1, 2023.

Since the end of 2012, Dr. Beate Bungartz has been the Executive Vice President responsible for human resources of automotive component supplier Kautex Textron GmbH & Co. KG – a company of the US conglomerate Textron, where she is also active as a member of the Textron HR Leadership Team. Before joining Textron, Bungartz, who holds a degree in business administration and a PhD in economics, was Senior Vice President Human Resources with Bilfinger Berger SE, where she was responsible for human resources at the Power Services division. Previously, she held various management positions with the Cegelec Group, with headquarters in Paris and Brussels, from 2003 to 2010. Finally, she was Vice President Human Resources with a business division of Cegelec, which now forms part of the Vinci Group. Bungartz, who was born in the Rhineland, also held management positions in human resources and in-house consulting with Deutsche Telekom.

Anke Felder is leaving the Group at the end of the year at her own wish in order to reorient herself with respect to plans for her future life. “I would like to thank the MAHLE Supervisory Board, my colleagues on the Management Board and the entire MAHLE team.
