Dominique Bourrinet appointed Group General Counsel at Societe Generale

Paris, France, 23-12-2013 — /EuropaWire/ — Societe Generale announces the appointment of Dominique Bourrinet as Group General Counsel with effect from January 1st2014.

Dominique Bourrinet, who was Group Deputy General Counsel since October 1st after working as General Counsel for Corporate and Investment Bank since 2010, is taking over from Gerard Gardella, who is to become Adviser to the Corporate Secretary from January 1st 2014.

Biography

After graduating in law and political science, Dominique Bourrinet began his career with the BNP Paribas Group in the eurocredit department before joining the CEGOS consulting and training firm as a consultant, where he worked in particular for the European Social Fund.

He then continued his career with Brizay London, a law firm in Paris, where he worked for three years before joining the Societe Generale Group in 1994 as a in-house lawyer in the Corporate and Investment Bank before moving on to the Group’s Legal Department.

Dominique Bourrinet has also taught in various institutions including the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers.
