DNV and National Institute of Medical Device Safety Information Korea to Collaborate on Regulatory Training

The agreement will support educational programmes, seminars and forums designed to share regulatory developments and promote dialogue with the medical device industry. (PRESS RELEASE) HØVIK, 17-Jul-2026 — /EuropaWire/ — DNV has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the National Institute of Medical Device Safety Information Korea to strengthen cooperation on education, industry engagement and knowledge sharing related to international medical device regulations.

The agreement, signed on 7 July, establishes a framework for collaboration between DNV and NIDS through educational programmes, seminars and forums.

The joint activities will provide opportunities to share updates on the international regulatory landscape and support dialogue with companies and stakeholders across the medical device industry.

As medical device regulatory frameworks continue to evolve globally, DNV and NIDS said that understanding international developments is becoming increasingly important for manufacturers and other industry participants.

Through the collaboration, the two organisations aim to promote broader awareness of international medical device regulations and encourage practical knowledge exchange across the sector.

The MoU reflects a shared commitment by DNV and NIDS to support the medical device industry through education, regulatory insight and stronger engagement with stakeholders.
