DKH Metaalbewerking B.V. joins Equistone-backed Andra Tech Group as second acquisition

The acquisition will expand Andra Tech Group’s presence in the Dutch market and solidify DKH’s position to meet growing customer demand. The transaction was led by Equistone, a European private equity firm, and was advised by PwC (Financial & Tax) and Vesper (Legal).

Andra Tech Group, a manufacturer of precision mechanical components, has acquired DKH Metaalbewerking B.V., a specialist in complex metallic parts and components. This acquisition will further expand Andra Tech Group’s presence in the Dutch market, as well as solidify DKH’s position to meet growing customer demand. DKH was acquired from its founder and CEO, Francois van Hirtum, who over the past 20 years successfully transformed the company into a trusted partner for a highly regarded customer base.

With this acquisition, Andra Tech Group consists of seven companies with over 500 highly qualified employees serving a diverse international customer base in the semiconductor market, aerospace, transport, packaging, food, and medical industries. The group boasts a high level of expertise in processing complex metals, plastics, and composites, and utilizes state-of-the-art technologies like 3D metal printing and cleanroom assembly systems.

DKH, based in Uden, the Netherlands, is a highly automated manufacturer of complex precision mechanical parts and components, with a focus on CNC milling and turning. The company serves various industries such as food processing, automotive, transportation, and medical equipment, and currently employs around 30 experienced professionals.
