(PRESS RELEASE) MARTORELL, 27-Mar-2023 — /EuropaWire/ — SEAT S.A., a Spanish car manufacturer part of Volkswagen Group, has announced that its sports car brand CUPRA, has teamed up with Spanish singer-songwriter ROSALÍA to launch a new campaign highlighting the brand’s values and vision. ROSALÍA, who inspires the world from Barcelona, has become one of Spain’s most recognizable international artists in a few short years with millions of global followers.

In their latest collaboration, the two have given a fresh take on ROSALÍA’s viral hit “Abcdefg,” from the Grammy-award winning album MOTOMAMI. The video premiered during the half-time period of the King’s League final match, treating fans at FC Barcelona’s Camp Nou to a celebration of young creative talent and the CUPRA brand.

The video features appearances from CUPRA brand ambassadors such as actor Daniel Brühl, FCB players Alexia Putellas, Ansu Fati, Marc ter Stegen, driver Klara Andersson, and padel player Ariana Sánchez. It also showcases the brand’s new heroes for the new era – the CUPRA UrbanRebel Concept, CUPRA Tavascan, and CUPRA Terramar.

On the campaign collaboration, Sven Schuwirth, COO of CUPRA, said: “Just like CUPRA, ROSALÍA was born in Barcelona, in fact only four kilometres away from our HQ. Similarly, both CUPRA and the artist share an international mindset and appeal, acting as cultural landmarks for individuals and new generations who look for the unconventional aspects of life.”

The collaboration is an extension of the joint campaign between CUPRA and ROSALÍA, which recently took over billboards and posters in Madrid, Barcelona, and Mexico City. Passers-by were prompted to send a WhatsApp message to receive short clips from ROSALÍA’s track.

The campaign is now fully live, with shorter cuts for TV and social media, reflecting the brand’s commitment to creativity and innovation. The collaboration between CUPRA and ROSALÍA celebrates young talent, cultural diversity, and the brand’s commitment to excellence, inspiring the world from Barcelona to the rest of the world.
