The company has around 30 years of engineering experience and generates approximately EUR 75 million in revenues. Headquartered in Bietigheim-Bissingen, CTS operates across Germany, Poland, China, Mexico and Japan, serving automotive manufacturers in sports car, luxury, premium and high-volume segments. The transaction establishes CTS as an independent global automotive supplier with specialist expertise in roof systems and aerodynamic kinematic systems.

Mutares said the acquisition strengthens its Automotive & Mobility segment and strategically complements the HILO Group platform.

CTS is recognised for decades of engineering expertise, established global customer relationships and operational excellence.

The company generates revenues of approximately EUR 75 million.

Founded in 1996 as a joint venture between Mercedes-Benz AG and Porsche AG, CTS has developed around 30 years of experience as a specialist in automotive roof systems.
