(PRESS RELEASE) HANOVER, 28-Oct-2024 — /EuropaWire/ — Continental has announced that its high-performance SportContact 7 tires will be the exclusive choice for the BRABUS ROCKET GTS, a new supercar featuring a carbon-fiber shooting brake design. The BRABUS ROCKET GTS, which boasts 1,000 horsepower, will benefit from the precision and grip provided by Continental’s advanced tire technology, offering both performance and safety to drivers who demand the best.

The supercar is equipped with 275/35 ZR 21 tires on the front and 335/25 ZR 22 tires on the rear, mounted on BRABUS Monoblock P “PLATINUM EDITION” wheels. These specially designed five-spoke wheels with central locking ensure optimal power transfer to the road. The Continental SportContact 7 tires deliver superior traction, enabling the ROCKET GTS’s powerful hybrid drivetrain to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.6 seconds, with a maximum electronically limited speed of 317 km/h. The tires effectively manage the vehicle’s high torque of up to 1,820 Nm, ensuring stability during rapid acceleration, sharp handling, and controlled braking.

This collaboration is the latest milestone in a partnership that spans over 25 years, during which Continental and BRABUS have developed tire solutions for high-performance vehicles. The SportContact 7 has already been the tire of choice for models like the BRABUS 930 and the limited-edition BRABUS Rocket 1000 “1 of 25.” Known for its quality in both aftermarket and original equipment settings, the SportContact 7 has been independently validated, earning top marks in tests such as those conducted by AUTO BILD sportscars, where it was named the best in its category earlier this year.

With the introduction of the ROCKET GTS, BRABUS showcases the latest addition to its exclusive 2025 collection, blending advanced engineering with cutting-edge tire technology from Continental to create a driving experience that is both powerful and refined.
