Palma, 18-4-2013 — /europawire.eu/ — Compañía Logística de Hidrocarburos CLH, S.A. has made investments of nearly 37 million euros in the Autonomous Community of the Balearic Islands during the 2007-2012 period, which have enabled it to prepare its infrastructures for meeting fuel supply requirements in the Autonomous Community in the next ten years.

One of the most important projects to be carried out was the construction of a
new storage facility in Mahón (Minorca). The work involved an investment of
more than 22 million euros and consisted of building twelve new storage tanks
with a total capacity of more than 34,000 cubic metres. In addition, a poly
pipeline 5.3 kilometres long was built to link the facility with the pumping station located in the port, and make it possible for the facility to be supplied directly from the ship discharge area.

CLH also invested more than 12 million euros in expanding and improving the
facility in Son Banya (Majorca), which made it possible to place in service 2 new
storage tanks with an additional capacity of 98,520 cubic metres.

The investments made during the 2007-2012 period also included 2.2 million
euros that were devoted to making operational improvements at the airport
facility in Ibiza.

CLH presence in the Autonomous Community of the Balearic Islands

Compañía Logística de Hidrocarburos CLH is the leading company in the
Spanish market for the transportation and storage of oil products, with a pipeline network more than 4,000 kilometres long, and 39 storage facilities, with a total capacity of 7.9 million cubic metres, in addition to 28 airport facilities.

The CLH Group has four storage facilities in the Autonomous Community of the
Balearic Islands: two on the island of Majorca, Son Banya and Porto Pí, another
on Minorca (Mahón) and one on the island of Ibiza. Between these facilities, the
company has a total storage capacity of more than 371,000 cubic metres, and it
employs around 90 people.

The pipeline network in this archipelago is 55.6 kilometres long. Most of it is to be found in Majorca and links the two storage facilities on this island with one Press release another. CLH completes its infrastructures in the Balearic Islands with a pumping station in Majorca and a poly pipeline in Minorca, which connects the storage facility with the port.

Through its subsidiary CLH Aviación, CLH is also present at Palma (Majorca),
Son Bonet, Mahón and Ibiza airports with facilities that serve to supply the
aircraft operating at these terminals.

During 2012, the CLH Group supplied 1.6 million cubic metres of fuels to the
different oil operators through its facilities in the Autonomous Community of the Balearic Islands in order to meet demand from the end users.
