Carl Nyberg to succeed Matti Lehmus as Neste’s Executive Vice President, Renewables Platform and member of the company’s Executive Committee

(PRESS RELEASE) ESPOO, 31-May-2022 — /EuropaWire/ — Neste (HEL: NESTE), the world’s leading provider of renewable diesel and sustainable aviation fuel and the 4th most sustainable company in the world, has announced the nomination of Carl Nyberg, M.Sc. (Economics and Business Administration) as Executive Vice President, Renewables Platform and member of the Neste Executive Committee. Carl will succeed Matti Lehmus in this position, who in turn will become Neste’s President and CEO as of 1 May, 2022. In his new role, which will be in effect as of 1 June 2022, Nyberg will be reporting to the company’s President and CEO Matti Lehmus.

Carl Nyberg joined Neste in 2005, and has held several key leadership positions during his career at Neste. He has been a member of the Executive Committee and holding the position of Executive Vice President, Renewable Road Transportation since 2019.
